What a day. FM Cares presented the town of Flower Mound with the petition to call a special election for a 6 month moratorium on new permits for Centralized Collection Facilities, Pipelines and Compressors. Over 6000 residents signed! Ginger Simonson, one of the petition group organizers, along with many of the volunteers hand delivered the petition to the Flower Mound Town Hall.

The petition represents 15% of qualified voters. This petition sends a loud and strong message to Mayor Smith and the Town Council that many of us Flower Mound residents disagree with the decision made on Jan 21. When we have the link from WFAA.com, we will post it.
