News from Austin is claiming HB 3105 didn't make it out of the House Calendar Committee to be heard on the house floor. This is great news but we must not stop watching this bill as it could be attached as an amendment to another bill.
When we get an idea of what bills HB 3105 could be attached to, we will share the information.
Don't let your guard down yet........

As far as I have been told, there is not a specific deadline for attachment. I will verify that.
Bills can be attached to similar bills that are seeing movement so I would think it has to happen before the bill goes to vote.
There is a deadline for any new bills to be filed and I believe that is tomorrow.
A big thank you to Mayor Northern and the Town Council for all the hard work.
I am glad to see Mayor Northern put some articles out there about the legislative session. Many citizens have no idea how hard she has been working behind the scenes.
We have Melissa Northern and Calvin Tillman to thank for this. Also all the citizens that took the time to call and write.
I forgot to mention all the town council members. The Mayor and Council adopted many resolutions for and against important bills.
Give it a rest will you - HB3105 is not going anywhere.
No resting till the session is over.
@Anon May 11, 2011 7:41 PM - really? How would you know that? Do you know every legislator personally?
The following comments are those that somehow went to spam so I copied and pasted them. All were from anonymous.
Interesting comment made by a radio talk show host this morning. He stated that our legislators only make laws, but so few are based on morals anymore. Who ever thought that we would all become so involved in supporting or opposing legislative bills? Let's keep up the good fight!

If HB 3105 were to be attached to another bill, what is the deadline for something like this to happen?
See new post with legislative dates of interest info
This one is in response to "Give it a rest"
