The Flower Mound Town Council will meet on January 20th, for their first Work Session of 2011. It is possible the Oil & Gas Advisory Board will be presenting the town with their recommendations.
The Advisory Board was appointed back in July as part of the Flower Mound Cares Petition Drive. The petition called for a moratorium and an Advisory Board to review and make recommendations to the Oil & Gas related ordinances.
There will not be public participation at this meeting. If the Oil and Gas Advisory Board recommendations are presented on January 20th, it will mark the 30 day public comment period for the ordinance changes. Residents can address any issues during this time.
