Couple of big numbers from early voting

A couple of big numbers related to this week's early voting:

1) Over 2,100 votes were cast between Monday and Thursday (no info on the Friday numbers yet). Normal early voting numbers are in the 125-150/day range. And just to understand the magnitude--in last year's election, a total of just over 3,000 votes (in total) were cast.

2) Candidate Robinson wore green every day to work the polls. (This guy is SERIOUS when he says that he's an environmentalist.)

OMG..I love it that you give us updates on "Candidate Robinson's" attire everyday.

I saw an ad for Robinson last night on ESPN.

Must take a lot of "green" for that kind of air time. Can't wait to view his financial disclosure report to see who is funding these commercials.

As far as it being an effective ad, I'll give it a "meh". Dry and boring just like the candidate.

I agree, the only thing green about the SRW campaign is the amount of money the gas drilling companies are pumping into their campaigns.
Hey Mr. Robinson, hang on to those green shirts you may need them next year if you try to run again.

Historically, huge voter turnouts mean the incumbents are getting the gate.

If anyone has been involved in politics here in Flower Mound for the last 10 years, you know how dirty the Smith, Robinson, and Webb group of supporters play. I am not saying specifically these candidates (with the exception of Smith, she has played dirty before) just the group that supports them. Their lies and un-ethical tactics have hurt many on a personal level too. It is time to shut this group up for good!!!!!

Can someone explain to me the point of standing out in a parking lot all day to shake hands as people are already going in to vote? "Hey, I was 100% sure I was voting for the other guy until I pulled up and you shook my hand! Now I'm sold on you! That robotic 'nice to see you' really sealed the deal!!!" I know nothing of Gerald Robinson personally but it seems to me that anyone who would waste time doing that isn't really the kind of guy I want running things.

I know Gerald Robinson's name is on a huge sign driving down 2499 that is a dishonest statement about Northern. That tells me about Robinson's his lack of character and integrity.
