Just another day in Paradise. Titan is building sound wall

Titan has started building the sound wall at Hilliard Field.

It is looking more and more like an industrial zone everyday.

...and a big THANK YOU to all who signed leases, now I can't sell my house. So when YOU try to sell YOUR house and I put a spare tire in my front yard you better the F*** not say a damned word!

anon 3:52. Good point, this would not be possible if everyone had "just said no" to signing leases. As it is, Titan doesn't have enough signed to drill all the wells they have proposed (up to 24).
So for those of you that have not signed, don't sign! Limit the amount of wells. Limit the amount of time we have to look at this. Limit the amount of compressors and tank batteries.
Do you want what is happening out in West Flower Mound to happen here?

I cannot believe the amount of greed and lack of conscience that led up this. I personally would not be able to sleep at night knowing that I was profiting from sonething that would make many people, including children, terminally sick. My family & I were wanting to move to FM 8 months ago, at one point very close to putting an offer on a house in Stafford Estates. You couldn't pay me to live there now. I really feel for everyone in this town, it was a great little close knit community. But at the same time, I can't help but think more should have been done. This man is single handedly going to ruin that side of town by damaging your family's health and ruining your property values to the point everyone has to do a short sale. I personally think people should have been protesting in this man's front yard 24/7 and making his life a living hell instead of blogging on the FM cares blog and having "peaceful" protests.

anon 8:35. I disagree with you. If you had attended any of the Town Council meetings last year before the election, you would see why many of us chose to protest peacefully.
The other side made fools of themselves showing up to the meetings ranting and raving, calling us all radical, socialists, communists, making threats to our Oil and Gas Board of Appeal members etc.
We took the higher road.
There have been protests. Starting over 3 years ago, in front of Cherokee Horn, the petition drive, across the street from Hilliard field etc.
Unlike other communities, we did not sit idle and make it easy for them like some of the neighboring towns. We have also reached out to other communities. And we are not finished fighting. We are still a close knit community with many people who care and are willing to fight for what they believe in.

We choose not to break the law, we leave that up to Titan, Williams, et al.

Look for the black smoke, but remember, TCEQ has no authority over emissions during the drilling process therefore, I guess the emissions will be okay for the next 5 years.

I would like to thank the Hilliard Family and have one question, Have you begun building your mansion outside of Flower Mound yet?

Please note that many of the people who signed leases were misled regarding the drilling site and arrangements around it. See them equally much victims of a scam. Gullible, maybe, but also victims.
